A Special Message from Tina Roche, CEO Business in the Community Ireland

Business in the Community Ireland is 10 years old this year. I want to thank all our member companies and our partners for their support during those years. Before heading into the next decade we are taking time to look back at the impact the network has had on corporate responsibility. We are also reviewing our social inclusion programmes to assess the impact of business on both education and employment for the groups we targeted. We will be talking with our stakeholders as we normally do but this year we will be also asking where to next? An Impacts Report will be produced before the summer which will cover all those areas. In addition we will be holding a major CR Summit in November and more information on this can be seen below. We are all excited  by the opportunities that exist for Business in the Community Ireland and we want to make as big an impact as we can with our work. So here’s to the next 10!

A note from our Chief Executive
It was with great sadness that we heard of the death of Donal Buckley just before Christmas. Donal worked with IBEC as their Head of Business Infrastructure. He was interested in the environment and sustainability areas and it was through this work that we got to know him. Donal was a lovely gentle man with a great sense of humour and people warmed to him. We will miss him. Tina Roche, CEO Business in the Community Ireland
